They're among us
We eat, play and dare
Even they bug us
WallMonkeys
We could not bear
To lose their ass
Coz we adore them
They're not to blame
This thought is funny
But we look around us
We belong to this family
A cliche this may just?
But it's our curiosity.
Where all the flying monkeys gone?
Have you seen one?
Because If you do, be warned
Be with good ones.
A myth, be perhaps?
Still, use a sound mind
And please no whine
Bet they're all like us...
I say
Go keep roaming the sky!
Have your fun my baby
Though I'll miss you dearly
Still fly away up high!
And when you come by
Be home safely
And fear not, never hide
But be near me.
Now I ask
Where did my flying monkey go?
Weeks and months have gone by
With no shadow of goodbye
Would this love I have, ever grow
I have doubt now, never would
Doesn't he have a heart?
Have he crashed on wood?
Or just turned into a bat?
Now you ask
Are these flying monkeys real?
Or just a fantasy you made?
Did it hurt you big deal?
That all these crap have been said?
All of us have ears
And we could feel your pain
But be strong, these jeers
And flattery would make him vain!
I say
Flying monkeys may be real to me
But not to you or to anyone
It may also just my fantasy
Or I created them with magic wand
True, flying monkeys are here
Some do not fly no more
But most of them stay on air
They just love to soar
Imagine we are up there
Or just to climb swiftly
We glide high up with gear
Would we rise powerfully?
I bet we wouldn't know
Unless we were one of them
Would this grief showed
If I have chosen me to condemn?
Now I ask you
If these flying monkeys are everywhere
Should I just let mine go?
I deserve to have one, to hold dear
You know, my heart needs to glow
But here you are, you came just on time
And I saw our spirits soared
We rose above, yet with warning chime
All flying monkeys came aboard
I held my breath, I showed no fear
And all the while you stayed with me
Trusting you to be always near
But if I were my flying monkey,
Would you still want me?
